Circadianly — free circadian rhythm browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera
A quiet browser extension that detects your circadian rhythms and surfaces practical, personal advice right when each energy window opens and closes.
One quiet icon. Your day, named.
Circadianly maps your day into five energy windows: activation, peak, dip, rebound, wind-down. The same quiet icon updates as you move through them. Tap a window below to feel the shift.
How to start
Two minutes from install to your first phase reading. No account, no waiting.
-
Install the extension
From the Chrome Web Store. One click, no permissions beyond the toolbar.
-
Set your wake-up time
A single field. We map the five windows around it. No questionnaires.
-
Pin the icon
So your current phase is always one glance away in the corner of any tab.
-
Use it
Open the popup any time. The card shifts with you, all day, every day.
Built quiet. Built honest.
The opposite of a habit app. No streaks, no nags, no telemetry. Just a small, well-mannered tool that respects your time and your data.
-
Works offline
Phases are computed locally from your wake time. The core extension is fully usable without a connection, on a plane, a train, or a coffee-shop hotspot.
-
Private & secure
Built on Manifest V3 with no remote code and no account. Your wake time stays on your device. Anonymous usage analytics use a random installation identifier, never your name, email, Google account, or wake time.
- Soon
AI-powered tips
Connect Google Calendar and get context-aware tips: deep focus before a demanding meeting, lighter tasks during a recovery phase. Powered by on-device AI — your calendar data never leaves the browser.
-
No ads, ever
Nothing to sell you. No upsell modals, no sponsored tips, no banner injected into your tab. The extension exists for one thing, and one thing only.
-
Free to use
No paywall, no trial timer, no "pro" features. Install it once. Use it for years. If we ever charge, the core experience stays free forever.
-
Feedback driven
Every release is shaped by real notes from real users. Tell us what helped, what felt off, what you wish it did. We read everything, and we respond.
Honest answers, plain language.
Specific questions first, broader ones at the bottom. Can't find yours? Write us.

Does any of my data leave the browser?
Your wake time and preferences stay in your browser's local storage. There is no account and no sync server. Circadianly does collect anonymous usage analytics with a random installation identifier so we can understand which features are used and improve the extension. This is not linked to your name, email, Google account, or wake time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
-
Will it work without an internet connection?
Yes, fully. Once installed, Circadianly does not need the network to detect your phase, show the popup, or update the icon. Useful for flights, focus mode, or weak hotspots.
-
Which browsers are supported?
Chromium browsers today: Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera.
-
Can I change my wake-up time later?
Any time, right in the popup. Edit your wake time directly on the main screen — all five phase windows recalculate immediately. No restart, no re-onboarding.
-
Does it work for night shifts or unusual schedules?
Yes. The schedule is anchored to your wake time, not to clock time, so the same five phases shift with you. If your wake time changes regularly, set it to your most common pattern and adjust on the rare days you need to.
-
Is there an account or login?
None. There's nothing to sign up for, no email to verify, no password to forget. The extension installs and works. That is the whole onboarding.
-
What is a circadian rhythm, exactly?
A roughly 24-hour internal cycle your body runs on its own, built from hormones, body temperature, alertness, and dozens of smaller signals. It shapes when you focus best, when you slow down, and when you sleep. Circadianly is a small, daily reminder that it's there.
-
Can Circadianly read my Google Calendar?
Yes — optionally. When you connect Google Calendar, Circadianly reads today's events to give you context-aware AI tips: for example, suggesting deep focus before a demanding meeting, or lighter tasks during a recovery phase. Calendar data is processed on your device using Chrome's built-in AI and never leaves the browser. You can connect or disconnect at any time from the extension settings.
Start living in sync.
Stop fighting your own energy. Know when to push, when to rest, and when your best thinking happens — before the day decides for you.
